Cod is one of the most common and economically important marine fishes in Norway,and one of the best sea foods on the market, with a good source of protein, plenty of vitamin B12 and selenium, and a healthy balance of sodium and potassium.

Nergård has serveral factories, located from Lofoten in the south to Finnmark in the north, producing saltfish. Clipfish is produced in our factory in Senjahopen.
